Wedding Wednesday: Inspiration

Someone who has been with the same guy for almost 8 years, you would think she would have her wedding planned out down to the color of her toenails, correct? Well, you are half correct. The problem with me, is I LOVE weddings and everything I see is so beautiful and I could easily see as our wedding. The other problem is Ryan and I are so different that every idea I had, Ryan shot down. Mainly because there was pink and frills and bow ties and Paris everywhere, so I can understand. One thing we could agree on, was our love for color and rustic/vintage styles. Our venue was the first thing we decided on (more on that next week), so colors came pretty easy.  I found a color palette board, one day, on one of my favorite weddings blogs and I just KNEW it was meant to be...

and then I found this one and decided to mix the two...

Navy blue and mustard yellow with accents of gold and ivory and maybe mix in some browns and tans here and there for variation. I also thought the navy and yellow are still a bit preppy and classic, just our style. (I haven't given up on bow ties either, haha). Navy blue happens to be one of my favorite colors and that yellow, oh that yellow, is quickly turning into my favorite color of all time. So imagine classic black suits, navy blue bridesmaid dresses, gold shoes and ivory and saffron flowers in mason jars everywhere. I would be very interested in hearing everyone's thoughts and ideas!

Now I leave you with some wedding inspiration (some of this you may or may not see on October 06)...

Until next time...

Bises,
Dani xoxo
